Favorite Band Memory: “Over winter break, during my sophomore year of high school, my marching band went on a trip to New Orleans to perform during half time at the 2012 Sugar Bowl. New Orleans is one of my favorite cities so it was awesome to be able to rehearse and perform at the Superdome. I also started dating my current boyfriend during that trip, so it has a special place in my heart.”
Why KKPsi: “In high school, band was my life (which sounds corny, but it really was my biggest passion). During my freshman year at UCF, my only musical outlet was playing trombone in Jazz Band 2. Last Fall I decided that I needed music back in my life. After some encouragement from some Psi brothers at UCF and UF, I decided to rush. Little did I know, Psi was exactly what I needed. I love how heavily involved Psi is in serving the UCF bands. And the people in Psi are my favorite kind of people: dedicated band nerds”
Favorite KKPsi memory: “My favorite Psi memory is probably a tie between the night my line brothers and I crossed and my first “Game Day Crew” experience. Being on Game Day Crew is a lot of fun as a non-marching brother. The first time I stepped on the field during a football game (while carrying a podium) was an amazing experience. Love serving the MKs”
Spirit animal: “My spirit animal is a Wolf. I am a huge believer in the Myers-Briggs Personality Types and since I am an INFJ, I think a Wolf accurately personifies my personality type.”
Theme song: “Almost There” from The Princess and The Frog
